Dear Friends & Neighbors,

As you may know by now, our campaign was victorious on Election Night.  Out of a field of five candidates we received the highest number of votes.  This means that I will have the honor of being one of the two the Republican nominees on the ballot for District 2 on the McHenry County Board. 

As I have stated since I announced my candidacy in October, running for the County Board has never been about me—it is about you, our communities, and our quality of life in McHenry County.  As your County Board member I want to work with my fellow board members to address these quality of life issues.  My goal will always be to “Champion a McHenry County that remains beautiful, productive, and economically vibrant”.

In closing, I want to thank all who believed in me and supported my candidacy.  I had the pleasure of meeting many of you while I campaigned in your neighborhood.  The hundreds of discussions I had during the course of the campaign—on the door step of your home, at your kitchen table, or in your driveway, helped me to understand how you feel about the issues.  I believe that staying connected with the people and communities that I wish to represent is the only way to be an effective County Board Member.
